yes.. you are spot on with this.. i read the same article in the print edition and i was also quite aghast that if it was this top secret how is TOI printing it with such details..
ReplyDeletepathetic journalism..
Haha... TOI is losing all the standards nowadays. This is the most remarkable, though as an individual act, it's one of carelessness more than that of lack of quality. But, then, you indeed have to question the quality of the editing of a newspaper which posts a provocative headline "2 parts for Hindus, 1 part to Muslims" after the Ayodhya verdict, which has unnecessary cricket coverage on the front page for 15 days in a row, when it made sense just 3 days, and a part of whose website (known as "editor's choice") is just short of a porn magazine.
ReplyDelete@ rover and @ tanay - thanks for the comments.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Tanay. I had the same thoughts when I read about the Ayodhya verdict on TOI. Rather had commented on that story on their website, but couldnt put it on my blog....
Bang on regarding 'editor's choice'..... i have seen stuff uploaded on their website with the blurr effect.... never seen a national daily do that!.
