Arindam Chaudhuri, calls himself a management guru.... For me, he is a conman duping people all around by playing a game of words.... His target is 90% people stayin in tier 2- tier 3 cities, where the student wants to move to a tier-1 city, and wants to cash in of the big city syndrome... and he plays with the emotion of the parents of these students who very proudly tell their neighbors that 'my son/daugther is doing an MBA in delhi/bombay from the IIPM which they see each day on the back page of the morning newspaper'. He simply exploited that emotion in a parent wanting his son/daughter to get some good education from a big city, and the student just blindly says yeah i want to go IIPM , go to Europe for a week, get a laptop along, get all d freedom, and last but not the least also think beyond the IIM's.... Even though Arindam is sure shot Fraudster....the people who got duped are equally responsible.... This investigation should have been done long long, long ago!...

Disclaimer: Nothing Personal! - Just to make everyone aware so that they could take informed decisions in future!..... Two of my best friends and a cousin are from this institute... and so are many other bright students.......
I wish the above was not true.

Having said so, I come from an institute which runs a private diploma course too (not recognized)... the only difference is that they sold me the program which they really ran... there were no bogus claims and baseless partnerships to attract students .... Arindam Chaudhuri, it seems did not count his chickens before they hatched!!!!!

  2. Yes, even i read about Shahrukh Khan joining hands with IIPM for something, though I do not care whoever joins them for a fest.
Even when you read the editorials which he write, they are soooo made-up, only making people fall into the trap.

  3. IIPM is the institute for whom who could not clear any competitive exams but they wish to hold an MBA degree. If your parents have more money to pay the huge fees of IIPM and you do not want to do anything then you should go for IIPM.

  4. Recently I saw the Shahrukh Khan advertisement of IIPM. Even though, he is just coming for a fest of the college, the way the advertisement is made, it is as if he is telling the students to join the college. Perfect to make the already unaware non-urban population of India fall into IIPM's trap and the entire scam.

About Shahrukh Khan, well he can be bought by money. And when the government itself, is not taking any action against the false statements of IIPM, one can not stop him from being a brand ambassador for them.

  7. well mayank i feel the people who are jobless in IIPM are those who are failures in their life.IIPM too like any other management college is tough to pass. Very few finally make it to the degree with 135 subjects to be passed.
Well IIM and IIPM can never be compared. But every management college is in scrutiny especially the private ones.Symbiosis,ISB are also sai to have degarde their value. Its like we love IIMs even if there is lot of mismanagement in IIM because its a government institute.

  8. Rohit - its quite a statement you are making above. You mean to say, IIPM admits quite a lot of people who are failures in life???!!! thats a direct attack on the IQ level of Arindam and his top team.

    - the point is not about mis-management, the point is about doing a fraud. Fraud is very different than mis-management.
