Rakhi Ka Swayamvar - First of all, were the creative minds behind this show not able to think of a better name?
Rakhi Ka Swayamvar rr. One gets lost half way while pronouncing it! 'Rakhi ki shaadi' could have been better! Isnt it?
What the hell! Why do we even care?!!!
So coming to the point, NDTV Imagine recently lauched this show, a reality show which shall bring together few men
who would fight amongst themselves to be Rakhi Sawant's Husband, and as per media reports, the show was the most
awaited by Indian TV viewers, and TRP ratings already soaring high with a day's telecast!. Imagine, the TRP rating guys
actually did a survey just after the 1st episode late in the night, and we already had press releases all over, the same time
when the 1st episode was being telecasted!!! Wow, now that is real quick.... hmm or was it just made up?
Anybody's guess!
Now Imagine, how much must be the producers paying those 16 losers who actually agreed to be part of this show and
embarass themselves in front of the nation? Only those 16 losers would know the value of that money!

hey man ..that Elesha somethingWala isnt a loser..he doesn look or sound one for sure..! infact he's too much for Rakhi and wonder wot went wrong that has made him actually be one amongst those other men.. anywayz I feel uv expressed a lotta prejudice snubbin' everyone a loser..! like it or hate it people are hooked to it..soo yea it is a "somethin"... new, funny and mysteries (considering if Rakhi successfully manages to find her groom,or whether she backs out or even betta the guy backs out or whether the whole thing iz an out and out TRP raising scam..)! only time will tell ;)

ReplyDeletei really do not care does she really end up marrying anyone of them, gets divorced after that, runs away from the show(either her or the guys), or stays with her swayamwar happily ever after.... the entire concept is itself crap... and about TRP's... or people glued to it... people are glued to India Tv as well, but that does not justify what they show.. and cannot be termed as good news or something worthwhile.
The show is made for a TRP raise and bingo..! they are getting it..! Rakhi Sawant is one helluva bimbo who keeps gabbing rubbish..Its fun to see her and the guy's make a fool out of themselves for the TRPs..! AND lol Ram Kapoor is here for the money and not as a contestant-so tat makes him lil less a loser..! :)

What comes to a surprise to me, is that it is NDTV which has brought this nightmare to our house each night! .... As a production house, be it for News, or for the daily soaps, NDTV still was much better than the competition (Case in point, INDIA TV, STAR NEWS, STAR PLUS, etc), but after Rakhi Ka Swayamvar, they have also joined the hall of fame of the worst/senseless tv shows/channels in India.

Lol about the NDTV thing..! but know wot, NDTV Imagine is one helluva loser channel with absolutly low TRPs before RKS..! soo smart that NDTV is,they'v given Rakhi the loser half and not NDTV good times which infact has good TRPs..! And now the TRPs have risen soo much soo tat NDTV imagine is now one amongst the top 10 channels in here :).... eva heard of a better clever story! I reily pity Rakhi- how could soneone like her be soo stupid,soo frank and soo mis behaved ?

Alright so the scam, the fraud of Rakhi Ka Swayamvar is out in the open. Now, as per Rakhi, in the finale of the reality show, she would only choose her groom, and not marry him.... Why? well, because her husband should have a MNC high paying job, with an awesome house in a posh colony of Bombay... and for that the man needs to prove himself in the next 1-2 years while they would date each other! .... Yeah right!...

The producers of the show need to be sued for the wrong information being provided by the trailors and all the PR articles of the show which they came out with.
I kept telling people the show was a fraud and that she would not get married. A public fraud case could be registered against her and the show's producers but I do not know what damages would be available under applicable state and central laws. I was told that she was getting married and I kept asking how will you ever know and how would you be able to force her or the guy to go through with it even if it were real..the answer is you couldn't.
